I'm not really a big fan of introduction threads but seeing as the forums brand new, what the hell.
You can call me Halfshell and I will be running the joint. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to jot them down in the forum below and I'll get on it as soon as I can.
Thanks for dropping in and hope you enjoy!

Nice to meet your, Halfshell. I really like the idea of forums just for SWTOR, and they look great!

Since this thread is about introductions, I may as well introduce myself. I am Ludwig VanCover, from the galactic guild The Army of Light, and I am a member of the High Council (the "leaders" of the guild). I am a huge star wars fan (hard to guess right?), and am waiting for the release of TOR. I plan on being a Jedi Consular, Sage, In game, and cannot wait to meet you all.

Thanks, and happy posting!

Morning Halfshell,

Espowari here, and I simply cannot wait for TOR to come out. I've been gaming in MMO's since Ultima Online and this is just going to ROCK the world.

On a side note, I'm unable to create posts in any forum here. I was going to put something in a Class Forum but could not.

Thanks,
Espo

Hello all,
Just checking out the new digs.
As to games, well I started in the MUD Mortal Realms. Didn't really get into the MMO thing till Horizons offered to let me play a dragon. Did their beta and been playing one game or another ever since.

Hey all, as far as when I started playing online games, well if you could call them that I played a few MUDS.  The ones I remember were Aerdwolf, and Styx.  My first MMO was EQ, and I have played various other online games since then.  Right now I am trying to decide between a Consular or a Trooper, leaning towards Trooper though.  Eventually I intend to play through them all, if only to see the class stories though.

Hello everyone, thanks for starting these up! I've been waiting for SWTOR since it was "announced" and now that it's getting closer and closer to launch date I can hardly wait! I'm also recruitment officer for my guild(see sig). We are all just biding our time in different games, waiting patiently(or impatiently)for SWTOR!

Greetings

I am known as Belarak but over the years I have had many names and friends throughout all the realms of MMO.

I have fought with sword, axe, bow and even lightsabers. I once worked as a Journeyman in the Galaxies world and saw its rise and fall to the balance scale. (Funny thing about that scale, it NEVER really works).

I like so many others have been impatiently waiting for release of the world of The Old Republic. Everything I have seen and read looks to be fantastic. I look forward to fighting alongside all of you who choose the right side and destroying those of you who oppose us.

Greetings, I am Daelda. My wife and I will both be playing SWTOR at launch. We are both veteran MMO players (me more so than she) and we are both Roleplayers (no, not ERP). I am *very* interested in becoming a Dedicated Crafter and I am an Alt-O-Holic. We both love Story and look forward to the journey as much, or more, than the end-game.

Time for some Premeditated Self-Defense.

Hello I am MrsSwordman5K2U, you may know my husband he has been an MMO player for most of his life. I have, because of his encouragement and help, become an MMO player. I am dedicated to one game at the moment, but am looking forward to the release of SWTOR, as I think I might expand MY universe.

Fan of Star Wars, fan of MMOGs, fan of TTH.  This forum is pretty much happiness on a screen for me.  ;D

Ralsu here. I've been playing MMOs for right at a decade. Worked for Ten Ton Hammer for years and learned to love the maturity of the community and authenticity of the news around this joint. Now that I am no longer employed by TTH, they can't get rid of me. Love the new forums!

Hello, I'm SirRobin and I've been trollin... I mean, "contributing," to the TTH community for a while now.  I've got some pretty strong opinions about things but that's mostly because I'm an old grumpy gamer.  So if I randomly scream, "Get off my lawn!" Don't be concerned. ;D

Howdy!  I'm Ricoxg over on the TTH forums, for those who haven't figured it out yet.  I'll do my best not to TTHammer folks with walls of text like I have a habit of doing over on the other site.  =)

Morning, I'm Michael and I wandered over from the TTH site where I've been since I stumbled on in 2005 looking for EQ2 recipies.  I do bite, but I've had my injections.

Hey all, member since 2007. Love what TTH has to offer. Glad Boomjack is doing the mailing thing again. Can't wait for SW:TOR to come out. Been watching for it for a long time. Can't say when, there were rumors a few years before we heard an announcement.
