We are an Empire guild that will be rolling up on a RP server. We will be on the EST clock.
Why a RP server? Historically RP servers tend to have a more stable, friendly, helpful community.
Yes, RP servers tend to lag behind a bit on progression (in common opinion), but that doesn't always make it so.
Our Goal? To initially help each other progress thru storyline quests, level and gear up. We will be a casual friendly, family type guild that has each other's backs when the ***** hits the fan.
Raiding? Eventually I'd like to see a dedicated casual raid schedule fall into place, once or twice a week or so.
PVP/PVE/RP? If pvp's your thing we'll welcome you like anyone else, we will not be excluding pvp'ers, pve'ers, rp'ers, etc. Necrophim will not be strictly rp, pvp or pve. Many players dabble in all 3 and we welcome all Empire players. Note: although we will be on a rp server, Necrophim will NOT be a heavy rp guild by any means. If rp's your thing we'll make a chat channel or two for in guild rp, but general guild chat will be mainly ooc.
Background on those forming the guild: Personally I've been playing mmo's for over a decade along side my wife. We've taken part in the 2nd career of the die hard EQ progression raider keeping to a 6 night a week 5 hr per night schedule. We've also learned to appreciate the slower progression of casual play (growing up and having kids, job responsabilities, etc). Many of those who are joining have 3+ years of mmo experience in many different games, from casual to pvp rankings champion to die hard raider.
Any major guild decisions will be made by a majority vote from the council of officers. This is no dictatorship where one person runs the show in absolute power. Any changes to loot rules, raid schedules, etc will be voted on, majority wins.
We are looking to cap the guild at somewhere between 20-35ish members to keep numbers manageable and let everyone contribute and have fun without sitting on the side lines.
If you're looking for a laid back, casual environment to hang out in, that can get serious when needed we may be what you're looking for.
This guild is aimed at mature players, 16+, who aren't offended by the occasional outbursts of profanity, ranting about work, etc. We will try to maintain a pg-13 guild chat but mistakes do happen now and then for us all. Those who are looking to promote/push/force (out of game) political/religious views, racism, sexism, bigotry, etc are not welcomed and will be guild kicked. Oh, and we're not here to listen to how much dope you're smoking, how loaded you are right now and how many shots you did in the last Flashpoint you did. The aim is Family Friendly for mature players.

The Necrophim is ready for launch and looking for more able bodied Empire players to fill the ranks. We will be casual but will offer optional raids down the road once enough get geared/leveled. Come join the laid back atmosphere and hang out.
