We where started as a way for adult gamers to find each other, and play in an environment where they felt comfortable to speak freely and also not worry about any other issues younger members may present to an older audience. Our guild, as such then, only accepts members who are at least 21 years of age or older. We have a wonderful, mature, and friendly member base as a result of this. Our members are dedicated players of star wars who have chosen to stick with the game and truly enjoy playing it. Many of us are veterans of mmos. We have plans for end game when the time comes, but before that, most of us here at Event Horizon are just enjoying playing the game, without pressure.
We expect our guild members to support each other, and all of our events and policies are central to this idea. If you cannot fit into the "help others to receive help" mentality, then you do not belong at Event Horizon, because this is very core to our guild. We function very well under these ideals. By bringing in materials to the crafters they are able to make gear, its a win win!
Our guild is based around the friendships you develop in an MMO such as this. We realize you may spend hours a day playing, or maybe just a few hours a week, but however long your play time is, it is much more enjoyable when you can log on and find people you can call friends. The guild is built around these friendships, and finding people who will fit into our friendly and welcoming environment. We look for kindness, consideration, generosity, and an outgoing nature in new recruits, and we also like to make sure people will fit in and be comfortable.
